Grief Relief:
Navigating the Holidays
A virtual event taking a holistic approach to grief during the holiday season.
December 6, 2026
1-4PM EST
Cost: $75
Through education, reflection, gentle movement, and Reiki, we’ll give you intentional time to tend to your grief and care for your mind, body, and spirit.
This experience is designed to offer relief, even if it’s just for our time together. You’ll also leave with insight and practices to support you through the holidays.
*Registration is capped at 30 participants. Must be 18 or older to attend.
Support for your mind, body, and spirit
This entire experience is created for people who are grieving. There is room for your feelings, your individual experience of loss, and what you need on the day. You can participate at your own pace, without pressure to share or feel a certain way.
Mind: Understanding Your Self
Grief education and guided reflection give you time to explore your own experience with greater understanding and recognize what you need. This awareness can offer more choice in difficult moments, helping you pause, consider a different perspective, and respond in ways that support you throughout the holiday season.
Body: The Physical Experience of Grief
Gentle movement and guided awareness offer an opportunity to understand how grief shows up in your body and recognize where you may be holding tension. Together, we’ll explore movement intended to support release, helping you learn how to tend to your grieving body with practices you can return to throughout the holiday season. No movement experience is needed; chair options and adaptations allow you to participate at your own pace and comfort level.
Spirit: Receiving Care Through Reiki
A guided group Reiki session offers intentional time to receive care and connect with what you need. Drawing on your reflections throughout the day, you’ll set a personal intention for release and renewal. This session provides a quiet close to the experience, with the intention of supporting relaxation and a sense of ease as you approach the holiday season.
A post-event recap video and supporting resources to use during the event and return to throughout the holiday season.
Who is this event for?
This event is for people grieving the death of a person or pet, whether your loss is recent or it’s been years. It may be for you if you’re:
Already feeling holiday dread as memories, traditions, and plans bring their absence into focus.
Feeling alone in your grief, even around people who love you.
Overwhelmed by the mix of thoughts and feelings coming up, and struggling to make sense of them.
Feeling pressure to celebrate, show up for others, or grieve differently than you actually do.
Wanting time to acknowledge your own needs and find ways to care for yourself through the season.
You don’t need to have the words for what you’re feeling. You can participate without sharing your story with the group.
